Love this chocolate but a bit too pricey especially when an extra £2.00 added for postage. So would not buy again because of the price.

I Can Eat This

As someone who is Milk Free, dark chocolate is a must as you get the kick still. The taste is different from milk chocolate with a slight bitterness but you get used to it and even start to like it. The key is to buy quality and mix in some flavours if you need to.Bennetto have a range of different chocolate on offer, check the packaging to see if the one you have is gluten or milk free, these are clearly marked. The ones I tried were fantastic, the nut crunch was of a super high quality. You can get the bars in a gift set, which is expensive for three bars, but they are very nice and the non milk ore gluten person in your life would appreciate the gesture.

A good dark chocolate can take a little getting used to, but it sounds like Bennetto did the trick. We also now offer a new Mylk chocolate range!

I had 1 full size 80g bar of this chocolate to try- chocolate is very tasty, love the packaging which is really pretty and makes it very giftable. I cant comment on the value as the listing is showing a 3pack gift package but I had 1 bar so I do not know the cost of the individual bars however based on quality and its similarity to other items I would expect price range per bar to be between £2.50-4

A delicious 70% cocoa chocolate bar

The chocolate squares are approx 4cm x 3cm. The chocolate is smooth and has a really good snap, along with a deep, pure, dark chocolate taste. It has just the right amount of sweetness - not too sweet. I really liked it!I liked that the ingredients list is very simple: cocoa beans, raw cane sugar and cocoa butter. That's it.This is a good one for those who love dark chocolate. If you like dark chocolate, I think it'll be hard not to like this bar to be honest!The company have a bunch of delicious-sounding bars. I've only tasted two so far and both were wonderful. I would love to see them make a mixed chocolate selection to allow tasting of all the flavours in one purchase - that would be great!

Rich Flavour, Smooth Texture

This is a really lovely, smooth dark chocolate. The 70% chocolate has a good rich flavour which isn't loaded with sugar.The packaging is attractive and it's organic and fairtrade. Everything is to like, except the price. £10.80 (today's price) for a slim 80g bar of chocolate is way out of my price bracket. I was looking to buy the coffee flavoured one but I'm sorry that I can't justify spending that much on a small bar of chocolate.

Beautiful and tasty

The first thing that struck me about this chocolate was the truly beautiful packaging. I was tempted to keep it!It came in a simple black envelope which gave it almost a mysterious quality.The chocolate itself is a very good 70% cocoa dark chocolate and is not too bitter.. it melts beautifully and was a real treat.Given the extremely attractive packaging I think this would make a lovely gift. The fact that it is organic and fair trade is the icing on the cake.

Dark chocolate

This is a 70% cocoa, dark chocolate bar that contains just cocoa, cane sugar and cocoa butter. It tastes good and just off-bitter and is supplied in pretty packaging that makes it attractive as a small gift to someone to say thanks (or similar).The cocoa for the chocolate comes from one of two collectives in Ecuador, organically produced and certified fair trade. The chocolate is produced in Switzerland for a New Zealand company and the carbon footprint of the product is offset by planting trees where the beans are grown, which also serve to provide an alternative income for the farmers.It is good chocolate and an attractively packaged bar that would be a good stocking filler or gift for a neighbour.

Smoother and not bitter

After some recent health issues I’ve been advised to only eat dark chocolate, and after years of enjoying milky sweet bars I’ve struggled to find the perfect dark chocolate bar that can really enjoy, but this Bennetto dark chocolate has blown my socks off!The bar itself comes looking like something from Harrods. It’s beautifully packaged and would make a gorgeous gift as well as being a real treat for yourself.The bar broke easily and comes in 8 pieces each of a nice size.The chocolate is a little on the bitter side, like all dark chocolate, but not over poweringly so. It has a deep rich taste that is just gorgeous!Overall I’m really happy with this chocolate. It tastes great and just feels like a real treat to eat! I’d definitely recommend it.
