Pure Madagascar, exceptionally dark organic chocolate in 82% cocoa. Our darkest so far.

These beans proudly come from the Masoala Peninsula, Madagascar. It is one of the three most species-rich habitats in the world, with many birds & animals found nowhere else in the wild. This bar proudly supports the MaMaBay Conservation Through Cocoa Project on the peninsula through additional financial contributions. The aim is to regenerate 200-300 hectares of deforested land back into the tropical rainforest it once was by planting high-quality cacao trees alongside native vanilla, cloves and hardwoods.

Darkly satisfying

Exceptionally dark is well balanced,. Definitely a dark chocolate experience, so has the slightly bitter edge - for afficionados, I'd work up via Intense if you're used to sugar. I enjoy a small flavoursome morsel as a pre-dinner antioxidant treat before dinner.

Perhaps the best chocolate I have ever tasted

I just want to say ... we lived in Switzerland for 14 years before retiring to NZ and I had been searching for chocolate that I liked. Your "intense Dark" is wonderful perhaps the best chocolate I have ever tasted. And I have tasted a fair few different chocolates. And I absolutely love the illustrations. Please keep up the good work. (And I like your philosophy ... sometimes profits to Forest and Bird, and Fair Trade considerations.
